About this project

My latest project is a type specimen book featuring the font Lust by Neil Summerour. Using text from the “Sexism and Fonts” article by Amy Papaelias, I aimed to challenge traditional ideas about the use of typography in design. The book raises important questions about the ways in which we communicate and the impact that typography can have on our perceptions of gender.

Through this project, I showcase my skills as a designer, from typography curation to thoughtful page design. I aimed to create a book that was both aesthetically pleasing and intellectually stimulating.

Consider the ways in which typography can be used to challenge and subvert traditional ideas. As designers, we have a responsibility to create work that inspires and challenges our audience. This project is an example of my commitment to doing just that.
